- I retired from full time work as a two way radio technician and interferance locator for Paacific Power and Light in September of 2001. I then worked part time, only doing interferance locating, for the next 9 years. After a year of doing nothing, I went back to work for the State of Oregon, Dept of Corrections, fixing radios, mostly on the bench. Since this was a temporary position, Then in May of 2012, I took a full time position with DOC at age 68. For how long? I know not!!
